If you’ve had any trackday experience you’ll know of the one thing trackdays all have in common: they are non-competative and no timing is allowed. It’s the way it’s always been in the UK and there are good reasons for it. After all, it’s a trackday right, not a race?

What if you’re ready for a bit of fun and friendly competition? A bit of timing? A bit of a challenge?
What if you don’t want to go to the commitment and expense of entering a race series?
What if your friend says they are a second a lap quicker than you, but you know better?

The answer is the EasyTrack RaceDay series = trackdays with a difference!

Designed to be informal, sociable and fun trackday based events with a great atmosphere and a bit of fun and safe competition to spice things up.

We’ll make it clear from the start, there are no large packs of vehicles racing hell bent taking each other out. Indeed most rules are the same as track days and should be approached as such but with some “gentleman’s competition” thrown in. This is racing for fun, not reward.

Most of the competition element is either against the clock or taking the form of auto-tests and skill challenges. However, you will still get the thrill of controlled Grand Prix starts, racing against similar skilled fellow enthusiasts and sometimes, side by side drag-style challenges.

Excellent, fun and informal European track chosen for the need for skill to define results rather than power:

  • Easy driving distance of the UK. Less than 2 hours from Calais
  • No special modifications or equipment needed on cars/bikes.
  • More track time than you can handle – you can even treat these days as normal track days if you wish.
  • On-site breakfast and lunch – no need to hunt around a strange country!
  • On-site camping included where possible.

The format of the days begins with practice/trackday in the mornings and immediately after lunch (timing encouraged – and we’ll be organising groups using times). Think of this part as a track day to get used to the track.
Each afternoon we stage 3 races organised into 3 groups (groups may be adjusted depending on the numbers/times).
These will be:
A. Racer group
B. Fast group
C. Rookies group

It must be emphasised that this is “Racing for Fun” – don’t expect a prize ;-)

Don’t feel nervous, just come and join the fun. They are still great track days but we’ll all but guarantee you’ll want to take part in the competition activities once you see the sort of smiles it puts on peoples faces.
